LIM uses the following guidelines in working with clients:

Results-Driven:

LIM is driven to deliver concrete results for clients. Results do not just happen; they are planned.

Organization Development Orientation:

LIM conducts interviews and researches a client's operating principles before designing a program to address its needs. It is essential to recognize complex, interactive systems within an organization and the resistance that must be addressed if change is to occur.

Client Partnering:

LIM partners with clients to design a program that balances objectivity and sensitivity to ensure a level of client ownership. Solo designs usually fail.

Value of Difference:

LIM recognizes that differences can be a group's greatest strength ... or its biggest obstacle. ARL™ driven programs help organizations to accept, appreciate and value their differences: in personality, race, gender, age, perspectives, culture, geography, function and education.

Flexible Design:

LIM builds flexibility into programs to prepare for a variety of scenarios. Programs evolve with changes in a client's organization.

Action Reflection Learning Principles:

LIM believes that the best learning opportunities occur when people reflect on their actions. Reflection and dialogue allow learning to occur on an individual, team and organizational level.

Coaching, not Dictating:

LIM builds skills in clients rather than do the work or deprive them of learning opportunities. When everyone gets involved and people are coached as they make their own decisions, amazing things can happen.

Optimistic Pragmatists:

LIM has a 'can do', 'why not?' and LIM strives to create a safe environment where people can be themselves and achieve the most.
